PURE SPIRIT LAUNCHES NEXT GENERATION - A COMPETITIVE PLATFORM FOR YOUNG DESIGN TALENT

Trend-led young fashion exhibition Pure Spirit has begun a search for fresh design talent as part of its new Next Generation initiative.

Launching at the inaugural edition of Pure Spirit at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre from 13-15 February, Next Generation will provide two winning designers with free stands and the opportunity to sell their collections to the 16,000 buyers who are expected to visit Pure Spirit and parent show Pure London. An additional 14 short-listed designers will be invited to exhibit their collections.
The shortlisted designers will be announced in the Drapers Next Generation supplement in mid-January. This initiative was launched last year and is designed to provide fashions rising stars with the ‘must have’ support, advice, training and industry knowledge.

All Pure Spirit Next Generation designers will also win the opportunity to attend the Drapers Next Generation Academy with 100 other bright young stars. They will also be invited to show their designs at the Academy and on the catwalk at Pure Spirit.

The Next Generation selection process is open to British and international designers of menswear, womenswear and accessories with an original young fashion focus and the ability to prove they are able to deliver volume-led wholesale orders.
