Exclusive Eleven Paris and Becksondergaard Movember pieces!

Luxury accessory brand Becksondergaard and edgy French brand Eleven Paris have collaborated with Movember this year producing exclusive, limited edition products for both men and women. So yes ladies can get involved too and help change the face of men’s health!
 

Rock ‘n’ Roll Parisian brand Eleven Paris has joined forces with Movember by creating an exclusive t-shirt for the Moustache season. Delighted to be supporting this poignant cause, Eleven Paris is working with Movember to raise awareness for mens health including prostate and testicular cancer. The brand has created a one off design which plays on their signature tongue-in-cheek moustache tee and features a lion’s head.  The tees are priced at £45-48, with 20% from every t-shirt sold donated to Movember.

In honour of globally recognised mens health charity Movember, Danish accessory brand Becksöndergaard has created an exclusive scarf for all the MoSistas out there to show their support this Movember. Designed with subtle moustache pattern prints, Becksöndergaard’s Movember inspired scarf is the perfect chance for all the Mo Sistas to show some love! The beautifully hand printed scarf is made from the finest quality wool and silk and is available in two colour schemes. The scarves will retail at £68 and for every scarf sold, 20% will be donated to Movember.

Our SS'13 Press Day - The Afternoon & Evening

Our afternoon at the Sanderson has consisted of some incredible food, bubbly (of course), and a continual stream of lovely visitors!

 

Wildabout provided the amazing flowers for today which added the perfect finishing touch to our displays. The three vases pictured above provided a beautiful center-piece for our table, complimenting our bright Spring Summer collections perfectly. 

Wildabout have also teamed up with lingerie brand Dirty Pretty Things to create a Valentines Day gift package; the bouquet of pink flowers and silky, feminine three-piece lingerie set are just gorgeous!

Oilily brightened up our window displays with their SS13 collection. As colourful and stylish as ever, Oilily presented some new intricate prints and playful illustrations. The ladies from Grazia, Wedding Magazine, and Janet Impey from the Jewish Chronicle (pictured below) were huge fans! 

Also loving our collections and enjoying the beauty treatments was Natasha Hamilton! (Pictured below with one of the Little Mistress dresses and leather jacket, and also with our professional make-up artist Laura Hannon.)

 

Our selection of fashion gems from Miinto.co.uk featured AW12 collections from the likes of Maison Scotch, J Brand, Paul & Joe Sister, Current Elliott and Hudson. Some Olivia Burton watches and House of Harlow jewellery represented the amazing range of accessories available at Miinto. 

Showing off their new spa treatments at Kuramathi and luxurious accommodation (not to mention breath-taking surroundings), Universal Resorts' display needed few words to appeal to our guests!

Our SS'13 Press Day at The Sanderson: Part 2 Beauty

As well as our amazing fashion brands, our beauty clients are also showcasing some amazing products at our SS13 press day with makeovers courtesy of Bellapierre and manicures from celebrity nail technician, Loretta.

Here is the lovely Holly from Diary having her make-up done by Laura Hannon, professional make-up artist from the London school of Beauty and Make-up, using Bellapierre products.

Loretta used the new nail polish collection from Bellapiere to do her manicures, which went down amazingly with our guests. It is toluene, DBP and Formaldehyde free and comes in 20 different shades.

We were lucky enough to be paid a visit by the gorgeous Natasha Hamilton and her close friend Vivienne, who both enjoyed a spot of pampering between browsing our fashion collections.

Little Mistress

 First through the door were the lovely girls from Cosmopolitan; Clare, Laura, Holly and Shelly. Closely followed by the gorgeous Beverley Knight who loved our newest brand Little Mistress. Here she is looking lovely with one of her favourite dresses from the collection!

We've also had visits from the lovely ladies at Marie Claire, Grazia, InStyle and Glamour

Velassaru, Maldives, introduces new features!

 

Velassaru has recently made some changes, and now has some exciting new features available!

The restaurant menus are now available in both Russian and Chinese languages, with a new Tapas Menu launched in Chilli Bar. A new menu will have also launched in the Spa by the end of this month, offering luxurious new treatments and products. Ipod docking stations are also available across all room types at the resort.
