White Gallery London 2011 - Bridal Design with Flair

White Gallery London in all its opulence and glamour proved its well deserved place on top in bridal design when the prestigious show closed the doors of its second edition last Tuesday.
A destination bridal trade exhibition in its own right, White Gallery London produced a carefully curated series of catwalks for buyers and press alike across two of its three days in the lush location of Battersea Park.
Matthew Williamson's debut bridal collection caught the attention of many, with an inspirational catwalk of bridal couture with brilliant movement and subtle embellished detail, presenting a contemporary perspective for the modern bride.
In a theatrical and glamourous catwalk, Ian Stuart's dresses moved decadently and elegantly to the sound of Julie Andrews, a trip back in time to the classic bride that is a lady in all her elements.
Stephanie Allin, Stewart Parvin and Alan Hannah's dedicated catwalks added to the prestige of the event, making each garment that appeared from backstage an aesthetic beauty that treated the audience to a variety of styles and silhouettes, capitvating their attention at every turn.
A compilation of new talent and a designers preview catwalk also gave buyers and press an opportune moment to take White Gallery as the one stop bridal fair that it set out to be, with everything from dresses to shoes and the final touches with headpieces and veils.
Seeing a brilliant turnout from key bridal consumer trade press including Cosmopolitan Bride, You & Your Wedding, Martha Stewart Weddings, Confetti, Bridal Buyer, Brides and international publications Vogue Sposa, Collezioni Sposa and many more, White Gallery London concluded the exhibition on an incredibly successful note.
We cannot wait until next year and look forward to reporting to you brand new bridal news direct from the exibition itself.
